Mr. Potvien oversees the daily operations of 16 apartment communities (approx. 2,700 units) and more than 100 full-time associates.  In addition, Mr. Potvien is responsible for developing new business relationships for ConAm.

Prior to joining ConAm in 1998, Mr. Potvien was vice president of business development for Lincoln Residential Services in Denver, Colorado where he developed and expanded relationships with third-party owners and increased their fee management portfolio by more than 8,000 apartment homes. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Potvien has managed in both the residential and commercial real estate sectors. 

Mr. Potvien is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Accounting.  He passed the uniform CPA examination and is also the licensed real estate broker for Colorado and New Mexico.
