Michael Cato

Michael Cato is a Harvard and Duke educated attorney and real estate professional. As Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of CONAM, he oversees all human resources, legal and risk management matters for the CONAM Group. With over 20 years of experience in real estate and finance, he works with executive leadership to shape and execute strategy; the investment and development groups to structure, finance and realize transactions; property and asset management to identify and manage risks; clients to achieve investment objectives; human resources to foster a culture of excellence; and risk management to design and implement insurance and risk management programs. Michael found his calling early, helping first-time homebuyers close on their homes as an intern at the Harvard Legal Services Center, an ideal introduction to a career in multifamily investment, management and development.
